Burton Village Residents and Contactors

Please be aware that no person, firm or corporation having cause to perform work necessitating the involvement of a portion of the sidewalks, roadways, water systems, and/or sewer systems of the Village shall do so without applying for a Mayors Permit through the Clerk of the Village or the Service Director. This application will include detailing the nature of the work contemplated, the method of work, the remedial work planned, the starting date and the anticipated completion date. Please call or stop by the Village office before any work is started to avoid penalties. For more information, refer to Burton Village Codified Ordinance 901.

Ordinances adopted by Burton Village Council:

~ Ordinance 2168-08 amending 121.01 of the Codified Ordinances of the Village of Burton to provide Committee Council meetings on the second Monday of each month and the Regular Council meetings on the fourth Monday of each month. (Adopted November 10, 2008)

Resolutions adopted by Burton Village Board of Public Affairs:

~ Resolution 2008-25 amending section 121 of the Board of Public Affairs Rules and Regulations to specify the responsibility of the water and sewer service lines. (Adopted November 11, 2008)
